- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I moved to area tried to get a cardiology appointment referral for preexisting history for routine cardio took 2 years and 3 denials to fight to see a cardiologist. 2 Wk’s after finally getting in Ended up with a stroke. When discharged from hospital I was to see neurologist within two days of being home from hospital. It took weeks months for a referral and 4.5 months for the emergency soonest available appointment. So we paid out of pocket for a neurologist at Loma Linda who got me in that week. Also plan on being kept on hold, transferred to wrong numbers, kept on hold again for over an hour. Actually drove to Beaver in 10 minutes while still on hold and showed appointment desk lady my phone and that retarded hold music and recording about how important my call is to them. Worst medical care ever. Extremely poor management and procedures process. And I have real health insurance I pay for not state or Medicare.June 05, 2017by Dawna Smith
